Downs Link Bike Ride - Event Information
Join us in the Downs Link Bike Ride 2008 and help more people survive cancer. Over the last 4 years riders have raised a fantastic �150,000 for the work of Cancer Research UK by getting on their bike! This year we want to add to that total but we can only do this with your help. It�ll be a wonderful way to stay healthy and enjoy a great day out with family, work colleagues and friends.
The 31 mile linear route follows the disused rail link from Bramley near Guildford in Surrey, through the scenic countryside of Surrey and Sussex to Shoreham on the Sussex Coast. Riders will experience the peace and tranquillity of this traffic free route which is mainly on a dry, hard but unsurfaced track (it is therefore unsuitable for racing cycles).
The Downs Link Bike Ride travels from Bramley to Shoreham and the event organisers will provide transport for riders and bikes at a cost of �10 per journey.
There are two options:
AM � Transport from the finish at Shoreham to the start at Bramley for the start of the ride leaving Shoreham at 8:00am.
PM � Transport from the finish at Shoreham back to Bramley at the end of the day, leaving Shoreham from approximately 3:00pm until 5:00pm.

Entery to the ride by pre-registration is �12 per adult (14 years and above) and �5 for riders under 14. On the day entry is �20 per person regardless of age.
