This event is run under UK Athletics rules and therefore MP3 players and the like are banned whilst running for reasons of health & safety, both your�s and other competitors. When you wear such a device you are unable to hear other competitors, cars, bicycles or marshals instructions. Wearing these devices also invalidates your UK Athletics insurance cover.
The Torbay Half Marathon is a certified accurate 13.1 mile road race (Measurement Certificate No. 06/040r and is run under the UKA rules with SEAA Permit No. is: 10016). The race limit is 1,600
There is an extensive Prize List worth over �3,000 including �400 to the race winner and other cash prizes for the first 5 men and ladies with other prizes in five year age categories.
